Someone called law enforcement and sought counseling over an invading mouse?

This is the SJW generation, that takes offense at everything. I guess I'm not surprised....although I'd like to think that these types are still made fun of at places like LSU.

I agree with this. It's the parents. I have a coworker with 2 college aged kids who are completely worthless. Their parents pay for everything. Cars, insurance, tuition...And one of then is married. She talks about her kids, it's like she's talking about middle schoolers. So much so that when she talks to random people about them, they always end up asking how old they are (in that polite, let me show that I care about some stranger's stories about her kids way), and their eyebrows always raise when she tells them they're in their 20s. She always complains about how worthless they are and then writes another check or fixes another situation for them. The "baby" got a D in a summer class, and the mom called the Dean and had her grade changed. It's ridiculous.

Another girl I know has 2 teenage sons. 13 and 15. When they are out of school and she has to work, they have to go to the grandmother's house for the day. These poor kids will never get to throw an unauthorized house party because they will need a babysitter until the day they move out.

Parents today are raising kids that are precious and not in the good way. They give them no tools to be independent. They seem to think it's magically going to happen if they put them in enough summer camps and travel leagues. It makes me crazy.

None of them had a box score from their T-Ball game put in the local paper.

None of them failed to get a trophy for any rec league they played in regardless of their team's record.

Every single moment of their life since the age of 8 or so has been recorded via .mp4 or .jpg format and plastered on the Internet for every family member and friend to act like they just split the fricking atom for getting their hair cut before the first day of classes for 7th grade.

They have been raised to believe that every breath, eye bat, grunt and fart is the single most precious, unique and amazing thing that has ever occurred since the beginning of the big fricking bang.

They were told no failure was their fault, and that they could do no wrong, and now we wonder wtf is wrong with them when we finally expose them to the real world and are shocked when they are less prepared to deal with it than a Kardashian trying to comprehend being in front of a camera without a gallon and a half and three solid inches of makeup on?

Adults in this country are stupid. They make their kids stupid. Then stupidly wonder why the young adults they raised are stupid.

Nah, most of the SJW crowd are either women or "men" who would try to dodge the draft.

So you're the kind that wants others to pay for your overpriced degree in nothing and wants us to hire you for six figures and stock options for being a lazy stupid frick.

If, IF you were smart, you would not have any student loans on that over priced degree, brainiac.

Get off my lawn and go get your mommy to change your overloaded diaper.

He's emblematic of his generation, and he's obviously not the only who feels that way since he got a bunch of upvotes. Sure, cost of education is high, but that's the professors' fault and boils down to a supply/demand issue. But to blame people who provide you with access to capital you wouldn't otherwise have and charging you for it is such a pussy move. Just confirms the notion of the OP that my generation doesn't know how to deal with the real world.
