If he doesn't get the death penalty, i would hope the other inmates would take care of him.

And if you're someone who takes Uber/Lyft alone often (like maybe you don't have a car, or you live alone and meet friends out), find a driver you can build a good relationship with and bypass the app altogether.

A friend of mine bartends and doesn't have a car, so she has used the same driver for like 4 years now. She pays the driver weekly in cash, and she doesn't have to worry about her safety on a nightly basis.

I take a ton of solo Lyft rides, but I always check the make/model, color, and make sure the driver knows my name without me saying it.

Pfffft... Gen pop will look very familiar to him. Most of the cretins in there will just want to hear the story.

But some folks want to keep him alive and pay 50k a year to support him.

Maybe have an alphanumeric code Uber gives to both parties? So instead of saying "did you call Uber?" the legit Uber driver says T76R3A1 and the passenger knows it's the right person.

Not to mention, now that he posted the secret code, we could all just memorize it...

He's a da.

Why does it cost $50k a year to support him?

Many parents can support a family of 4 for a lot less than that.

It could cost more but don't ask me to explain why the government is so expensive as I don't know.

Tell me how much it should cost and why you want to pay for it?

So you’re telling me it cost $50k+ a year per inmate in our prison system?

That’s $50k+ x 3 million or so prisoners.

What are they feeding these prisoners? What kind of clothes do they wear?

It varies but look it up.

It is what it is.

Food and Lululemon?

Justify it since you're the proponent of housing them.

Would you rather him on death row or general population?

quote:

Cases without the death penalty cost $740,000, while cases where the death penalty is sought cost $1.26 million. Maintaining each death row prisoner costs taxpayers $90,000 more per year than a prisoner in general population.

quote:

According to the Vera Institute of Justice, incarceration costs an average of more than $31,000 per inmate, per year, nationwide. In some states, it's as much as $60,000. Taxpayers foot the bill for feeding, housing and securing people in state and federal penitentiaries.

Good, so I was right.

Housing them. Luckily, that system it's not what I suggested. But you didn't care about all that shite that I posted.

You want him on death row which cost double to prosecute and $150k a year to house him on death row vs $30k-$60k a year in gen pop

No wonder you’re just a handy man and don’t have a real job.

I hope your wife manages your finances.

As a dad of a daughter that starts college in the fall, I agree 100%. This POS would not make it to trial and he’d be begging me to kill him by the time I ended his miserable life. He would suffer greatly. Greatly. It looks as if some of his friends would need to suffer also.

That might be the case under the system you prefer. But again, not what I proposed. But keep ignoring what was posted so you can keep from ever admitting you are wrong, jump to conclusions, and think like an 8th grader....

Lol. Don't worry about my finances.. I'll get by.

????

Secret code that it would be impossible to randomly guess, and it would guarantee that you got an actual Uber driver.

What you proposed is not how our system works but keep living in a world that is not reality.

I bet you have imaginary friends like a 1st grader.
