She was probably drunk.

5 points, the bar area where she was taken, is a fricking sketchy dump at night. I had a few tense moments down there in my college days.

Tigerland around LSU is a bar area that's a sketchy dump now too. Wasn't always that way though. Surprised something like this hasn't happened there yet unfortunately.

I have a soon to be teenaged daughter and I'm already drilling this in her head. It's good advice.

Absolute tragedy.

He was caught this morning around 3AM in the car, driving around 5 points. He returned to the scene, presumably looking for another victim?

I see your point, but I'm not sure how the cops could have prevented this.

And the police did catch the guy very quickly.

You have to be a real idiot to think you can get away with these crimes in 2019. Cameras are everywhere.

What makes you think he’s worried about getting caught?

As a dad, nothing is more satisfying than when they get a little older and you realize that what you told them sunk in and that they listened.

Absolutely. I repeat things like this that I want her to know until it irritates her.

It's such a weird paradigm shift that I am 35 years old with a 5 year old girl who is nearly as close in age to a college student as I am.

I never want her to leave home. Scary world out there.

They’re sick frickers with a need to kill. I don’t think they’re worried about being caught. And our prison system isn’t so horrible that it’s enough of a deterrent for them, so...

That’s why I think we should make prison more unpleasant for the residents

I figured driving his decent car and wearing his Puma gear would be enough to keep him out of jail.
