The story is a sad commentary on how people are obsessed with other people and want to destroy lives. Every social media account spoofing or showing this is flat out awful, sports teams and companies even more so.

Ironically the very same procedures he personally implemented are going to be his undoing

In 2 weeks this will blow over and they will be reinstated with reprimands. No idea what his wife will do.

The wife oughta go on her merry way with half or more of their assets... she's the one, and their children (some article said her FB was full of family photos) I feel so bad for. He turned their whole lives into a joke that's headlining ballgames, memes and news shows.

Don’t cuddle at a concert/public when cameras are around. If they didn’t separate, Coldplay doesn’t say anything, no one looks to see who they are, everyone news source isn’t talking about it.

Folks here seem to be missing the point about it being a workplace affair….

You absolutely cannot be sleeping with someone who reports to you at the office… and for it to be the CEO and HR chief, i don’t see how they can survive this.

They two principles pretty much invited it. If you carry on an affair in public, dont whine when the public notices.

This just keeps getting better.

Astronomer HR chief Kristin Cabot appears to be married to CEO of Privateer Rum— and bought a house with him just five months ago

Ex-Kohl's CEO posted LinkedIn video of lover 3 months before scandal broke

Kristin Cabot, the HR executive caught canoodling with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert, appears to be married to the CEO of a different company — and bought a house with him less than five months before the scandal hit, The Post has learned.

Property records obtained by The Post show that the 52-year-old Cabot, whose maiden name is Stanek, has shared a Rye, New Hampshire address with Andrew Cabot — the chief executive of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based booze maker — since at least 2023.

Privateer Rum’s website lists Andrew Cabot as its CEO and COO of the company. His bio says his “ancestor, the original Andrew Cabot (1750-1791), was a merchant, rum distiller and successful American privateer during the American Revolution.”

They appear to be two consenting adults. Why is this a big deal beyond the humor. Let them live their lives and if the company is profitable then who cares?

While I agree with you, Kadoodling an employee is a major infraction in government employment law. Simple rule of employment law as it was explained to me, DONT €uck the help. This lady could make some major cash off of this. Im sure the soon to be ex wife will profit nicely too. Company will be in major government problems with this little trist.

What “government” trouble are they in? Are you saying it’s against the law for consenting adults to have an affair?

We like dirty laundry, and this is a story that most agree on. Given social media, it's no wonder it spread like wildfire. It will fade away soon enough.

Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Do you think the lady involved couldn’t claim sexual harassment to keep her job and save face. As an HR person her career is over unless she finds a way out of this mess. Claiming sexual harassment is the easiest way out.
Not saying she will take this route, however it is an advantageous route if she chose it.

If it was sexual harassment that’s not really two consenting adults though is it?

This is true, regardless of the rest of this story. No more HR jobs for her, hopefully he education wasn't HR focused.
