Cold weather training at Ft. McCoy Wisconsin in December 1989. -15 below zero without the wind. They sent us there to prep for our deployment to Norway. It was actually warmer in Norway in February than it was in Wisconsin. :)

Surprisingly enough, coldest temp I've experienced was in Baton Rouge. December (23rd I think), 1989. Pretty sure it was like 7 or 8 degrees. Actually watched a brawl in that weather in the Sports/Freds parking lot at 2 am. LOL.

-18 at the house here Jan 7 2014. The wife and I had our 25th anniversary trip to Key West scheduled that day but the flight in was massively delayed and our trip was cancelled. We threw hot water off the deck and watched it turn to powder in mid air.
We went to Key West in March and made up for it. Loved Key West!

It was about 11 tonight and felt very comfortable. Outside in just jeans, t-shirt and a fleece. You know it's been a lot cold snap when 11 seems comfortable

-22. When you walked outside the moisture in your nose automatically froze
Was somewhere in Montana. That whole week the high only got to 3 one day. And that 3 degrees felt like 35 in La.

Damn, I thought I'd have one of the most unique places to experience horrible ball-shrinking cold, then these dudes bust out Antarctica, the arctic circle, and Siberia.
