The only one that survived that was the newest crewman, an e-2 fresh out of boot camp. They made him strap him because it was getting hairy. Boat rolled, came up with 3 out of the 4 but no power and were sitting in the break, rolled a few more times I think before washing up to the beach with just the young fireman apprentice aboard.

Couldn't be farther from the truth actually. Half the state is lake michigan lakeshore, a portion is lake superior lakeshore, entire northern half is the beautiful northwoods, more lakes than Minnesota, Door County, Madison, Mississippi River, etc etc

that's not culture.
That's the natural placement of bodies of water.

I was responding to the void comment. Illinois is a barren wasteland outside of Chicago with no redeeming qualities to speak of.

I guess you could say that's part of it, but wisconsin has deep German roots. That's where all the food and beer influences come from.

nly way to learn to drive in those conditions is to do it, its not something you can learn in a book or talking about it. its like surfing, you have to learn to feel how the boat acts and maneuvers in the waves

Damn, some of y'all are such pussies. Complaining about the SJWs more than they complain about anything.

Nowhere. But if i was, a place in Madison with a cabin on a lake up north would be excellent. I'll likely retire in the southeast.

Eta: at least that would be my plan now, but sometimes plans change.
