Reclining's okay.
What I don't like is when someone in front of you puts something under their seat. That is encroachment.

If I pay for a seat and it reclines....then it's not my problem to worry about who's behind me.

I find basically no benefit to reclining, so I typically don't do it....just more shite to deal with when preparing to land.

During the takeoff. That ho is going back. I paid for that 1.5" and I'm gonna get it. I leave my phone on until service drops too.
