Has Papa John and other big donors to cough up cash. He just said on KSR that every dime goes to those in need in Baton Rouge.

He donates a lot of his own cash and his time in need.

He should have picked a different organization than the Red Cross.

I don't think it's criticism of Coach Cal. I know people have had bad experiences with red cross during this event, so it's more a knock on them.
to Coach Cal, Anthony Davis, and the UK athletics department.

I'm just trying to imagine 7' AD swinging at a softball.

If it's a rain out- he is going to hold open practice for ticket holders, and anyone else will pay $8 general admission that didn't already purchase softball tickets. He'll make sure he follows through and maximizes the effort to aid the cause.
Whether it's the $1M he helped raise for Haiti, or doing the annual free shoes and foot washing with the players for the underprivileged children, he doesn't even come close to getting the recognition he deserves for his instilling values in his players, and staff.
He's quite the philanthropist, and UK basketball is a good vehicle to use to do it.

Classy move by Coach Cal! With everything that the SEC schools are doing for Baton Rouge it is going to be tough to hate them anymore
