Because he is either virtue signaling or bending the knee to a loud minority. Both bother me too. We lost prayer in schools because maybe 8 people said they were offended. Transgender and “non-binary” (whatever the frick that means) people can deal with this just fine without us normal people having to participate. For example, if I’m talking to someone who looks like a man and accidentally use their wrong pronoun, they can correct me, I can apologize, and then we move on. A total of 3 seconds spent and no one was harmed. That’s how it’s been done for thousands of years before shallow thinking, self-important modern SJW’s and their cancel culture started taking hold.
