This. It was greasy and made me feel like shite after I ate it.

Yep!

Their chicken strips and fries do this to me, as well.

Clowns on here won’t even admit that the Popeyes sandwich is superior. If you prefer CFA for the service, loyalty, whatever, that’s fine... but you can’t honestly think their sandwich is better.

Grats on waiting 30 minutes for a chicken sandwich with boogers on it. Your boyfriend is very proud

Their bun is too meh... The pickles were ok, but I have had better.

In a vacuum, I completely get these subjective assessments but for someone that claims the CFA sandwich is superior, it makes no sense. The CFA bun is a generic hamburger bun just like the cheapest bag of 8 you get at the grocery store or on the basic McDonalds' hamburger. The Popeye's pickles have crunch you can actually feel as you eat the sandwich and while the CFA pickle tastes like a "dill pickle" it is that think floppy kind of slice you get on a McDonalds' hamburger.

I get food is subjective to a large degree but arguing the bun and pickles on CFA are superior looks more like dogma.

I also get you don't like the additional breading but it is what helps separate the PSC from the CFACS because it doesn't have that one note texture the CFACS does.

I will give you this, CFA pickles can barely be called pickles. But I still prefer it to Popeyes.

The last one I had was tough, cold, and disgusting. It was nothing like they used to be. I would have a hard time ordering another one.

Amen brother. It's like the OT has a hard on for CFA because of their political angle and whiteboy chicken stereotype so much that it blinds them to the reality of flavor.

I think the OT's collective head would explode if Church's stepped into the ring with a dynamite chicken sandwich.

I doubt they'll make a sandwich though because the neighborhoods they're in, people know how to eat real fried chicken on the bone.

CFA is for a the millenial generation of white kids who grew up eating chicken fingers. I dated several grown arse white women who absolutely had no idea how to eat fried chicken on the bone. Didn't even know where to start (like me trying to peel crawfish when I was in grad school at LSU). These are the soccer moms who bring their kids to CFA.

If you look at the trends, the massive growth in the chicken sandwich and chicken finger markets directly parallel the emasculation of american society.

Sometimes a sandwich hits the spot but a 3-piece spicy is always tops.

If Popeye's sandwich had more flavor, I would be there. Politics don't have anything to do with it. CFA = flavor. Popeye's = bland

The Zaxby's sandwich isn't too bad. I prefer it over the chicken sandwiches made by most.
