I dont think anyone in these states has any interest in spending time in your shithole. We can actually do stuff here. Not sit at home looking out the window at the crumbling streets.

Alabama made their list of states seeing sharp increases, too.
The state health department finally figured out how to track "presumptive recoveries" a week or so ago.

Cumulative cases: 27,796

Presumptive Recoveries: 15,974

27,796 - 15,974 = 11,822 active cases

In a state of 4,903,000 (As of 2019), that equates to .24111768% of the state's population that is currently infected.

The running average of active cases that are doctors/nurses/healthcare workers or longterm care employees or residents has been around 30%. So, we can assume that roughly 30% of the total number of active cases in the state are those who are most at risk of coming into contact with Covid on a daily basis.

A state health department or media outlet simply throwing a tweet or article out about a spike in cases doesn't really mean a damn thing without looking at the overall numbers. Simple fear mongering at its worst.

I intend on carrying it back from Florida next week. I'll drop it off on my way to Texas.

Sorry. Saw screen grabs on twitter from his presentation. Hospitalizations and deaths were dropping. Median age of infected has been cut in half. Mass testing is finding asymptomatic hot spots.

This is almost certainly driving a lot of these trends.

Testing is no longer limited to those with a doctor's slip in most states. You can get tested right now without symptoms or a history of travel.

First off, it's Brevard county. Next is it only ranks 10th in population for the state. Well under 50% of our top 5 most populous counties.
