Replace BLM everywhere in this story with "The George Washington statue" and you're a racist.

The easier way to vandalize it would have been to have a few gallons of paint "accidentally" fall out of your truck while driving down the street when they open it back up. Not sure why this guy took some time to sharpie something that will easily be painted over.
BTW, I am sure that gas station owner sure is glad that the street his business is on is closed for a mural.

So they’re allowed to paint the street but it’s illegal for him to write over it? Did they have a permit for what they painted? I guess that’s the question. Either way, BLM sure loves destroying property, so frick them.

The “vandalizer” stated facts and one of the citizens said it was his belief. There lies the problem.

Nearby residents have taken pictures of a middle aged African-American male defacing the mural by writing over it with messages not consistent with the unifying message the mural represents.

If I ever got a wreck on a mural painted street like that I would sue the municipality that allowed it and claim it was a distraction.

I’m just watching it on mute for the blonde

Not shooting people and not being a thug matter more

Black guy disagrees with the mural and white liberals scold him for “pushing his own agenda.”
Pretty much sums up this fricked up country.

Good. Racism in 2020 America is manufactured nonsense.

A message to this individual:
You do not have the right to make your opinion more important than the rest of us. We will not allow your selfishness and disrespect for this community to be a distraction from this unifying message. It is not about you. It is about the collective community. The “Gravity of this Moment” has caused many of us to use this as a time for introspection and self-reflection about how we can be part of the solution and demand change. This Black Lives Matter mural means a lot to this community and you need to respect that.”
