CLECO bill - higher this month than last month despite less energy used???

I used less energy in July than I did in June but my bill is higher in July. WTF?

It's almost like we're in an inflationary period where the per unit price of goods and services are more expensive. Wild shite!

Overall demand is up = higher KWH rate and other fuel adjustments.
Just wait until we add 30%-40% load to the grid when everyone has EVs.

Yes, same with me on Demco. Less kWh used than in June, but the fuel adjustment was higher due to the cost of Natural Gas. This fluctuates monthly.
