Demco usage was $110 and the PCA (power cost adjustment) is $140. bullshite.

I bragged about SLEMCO but then was hit with a $254 bill which isn't as bad as most people but it's been the highest bill we've ever had since moving here 10 years ago.
My previous setup was 74 day/ 72 night. The day I got the $254 bill,I kept the AC on 78 during the day(as recommended) and 75 at night. I make sure every light is off and even put a timer on the hot water tank. My bill this month was $417.

So what happened to the cost of fuel during these time periods ? Your missing a huge driver in the dollar change in your bill ! You cannot just look at the total cost/kWh over time. You have to break it down into base rates and the separate cost of fuel BTW the change in the cost of Oil is vastly different than the cost of natural gas! You can thank Brandon and his Policies for the increase in natural gas and oil !
