No, he was killed because of all the crazy shite he did over a multi hour period. At that point the grass was irrelevant even though the cause of the initial kerfuffle.

This was literally 3 houses down from me. Luckily all my kids where at school. I spent most of the day in one of my kiddos room upstairs watching out the window. We always thought the house was abandoned.
