Surprised this thread has made it to 3 pages without any unreadables or being whacked.

id bet the barn I’ve been through some delta towns that have a higher percentage than this, if not 100%
Ferriday is probably the blackest town in Louisiana.

San Antonio is surprising. I'd have guessed easily 40% of the population would be Hispanic.

It is. They must be counting Hispanics as white. San Antonio is probably 70% Hispanic.

Yeah, look at the Non-Hispanic White column

No Greenville Mississippi? List is shite.
Could have just listed the whole river delta as #1

I saw recently that Yazoo City was 85% black. I had no idea

I said that Louisiana and the South are the dumbest, fattest, and poorest region of the country.
You do realize that the south holds those titles because of all the black people, not in spite of them, right?

Lower middle class white males are fascinated with black folks.

Yeah this poster comes into this thread about black populations poor mouthing Louisiana.
Progressives never ever connect the dots. Its insane.
BTW most posters on TD also bash Louisiana for its negatives. There is plenty of self awareness on TD.

Why do you continue to post if you’re so bothered?

It's a board that's probably 75% SEC alums but we are all living in run down mobile homes in Pumpkin Center

5) Birmingham, Alabama (200,733; 69.82%)
This one tickles me for a reason that has nothing to do with this thread.
A fairly prominent meteorologist (student actually, but a really good future met) on Twitter last year wrote an article that basically alleged that the Birmingham radar was placed in Birmingham only because of the evil rich white people and their influence. He said that the poor black people of SW AL/SE MS are underserved because of this.
The disingenuous arsehole failed to realize the demographic breakdown (And the huge population) of the Birmingham metro area. He and one of his cronies stirred the shite until WaPo picked up the article.
It was a completely disingenuous premise that bordered on complete fallacy.
Anyway, carry on.

Uhh…the people here constantly trash Louisiana. Even if you don’t spend a ton of time here, ir shouldn’t take long to realize this board hates Louisiana (except for some cultural stuff)
