Say what you want. But I'm glad he's a live and this didn't end in a shootout. Too many times that happens in this country and we learn nothing about the individual.

Depends. His lawyers might request it, but he might also feel safe with the white supremacist faction protecting him. That does exist in most major prisons.
Death row people though usually are separated. I assume SC has death penalty?
