i don't remember seeing cops in uniform at the churches i attended. unless they were there as excorts for wedding or funeral

Macon is a shithole. It is on par with Camden New Jersey for violence with a city of its size. It is basically North Baton Rouge from reading the threads here. My office is in Macon so I have to deal with the trash daily. We had a crackhead asleep in front of our front door the other week, wrapped up in the mat like a blanket and had been pissing all over themselves.
Also had the windows shot out of one of our service trucks for a 20 dollar camera and the gas card which can't be used unless you have the pin code for the vehicle.

I believe the "reverend" is being brought up on fraud and molestation charges if I remember correctly and some of the church members think " he done been witch hunt"
