My 10 year old daughter is the same way. We got her stuff she will like. Hell she hand-picked some of it, it's the only way to make sure. My wife is good about that. She will take her somewhere and keep a mental note of stuff she likes. Mostly clothes and stuff from bath& body works. My wife has been stressing herself out because my 8 year old is getting stuff that looks bigger and she thinks it's going to matter. It's not. My 10 yo has no interest in the toys My 8 yo is getting.

Drones are pretty cool. You should be able to find an entry level one in your budget. Telescope as a backup plan.

Golf clubs

Any recommendations for a 12 year olds first set of clubs?

I know very little about golf. He’s a lefty if that matters.

I have a nephew that age who is obsessed with all things football. Instead of getting him his favorite player’s jersey (Derrick Henry) I started getting him jerseys of fictitious football players. Bobby Boucher, Al Bundy, and Shane Falco were the first three. This year he’s getting Reno Hightower.

I’ve considered a drone or RC heli/plane, he loves fighter jets

Any suggestions? I’m not familiar with that hobby

shite, I might pull out my old collection and see if it draws his interest

My brother and BIL both gave my son their old cards and he absolutely loved it. He takes them to school and trades them with his buddies. It’s pretty nostalgic playing with the cards with him.

My boy is 10. He’s getting a foosball table, keyboard (he loves playing music and this should round out his instruments), red dot sight for his .22 and a shite load of board games.
