Be careful looking at NMSF, it's based off of some standardized test we took during our junior year. Most of us didn't give a shite about it, and just filled in answers.

Look at ACT scores of you want something to go off of

Did you miss the option of going to Haynes instead?

We live in Jefferson, so that's the best public option. Jesuit is the best private option we can afford. It only appears in more options because there is one clear path for Haynes and several possible paths for Jesuit.

These are the only average ACT scores I could find.

Haynes: 29.3
Franklin: 28.9
Jesuit: 28.9

The Catholic Church preaches humility and humbleness, so I don't quite get the arrogance.

My kid goes there. We have a very good public elementary school where I live. My kids attend there and then catholic for middle.

My son is in their honors tract. It is tough. The whole school is tough as a matter of fact. They have a standard and they adhere to it. The kids are held accountable and aren't catered to. The school is definitely not a snowflake factory.

I wish I had the opportunity to attend when I was younger.

It's mostly a Jesuit feeder, but there are a few who go to Gentilly, as well. A few our our Crusader lax players went C.B. to Brother Martin. We saw a lot of them coming through open house in November, as well.

I attended CBS. Loved it. Hard transition going from coed to an all boys school at such a young age. School work is tough. Definitely enjoyed every second of it. And yea, feeder school to Jesuit. I believe we had 110 students in my graduating class and (approximate) 100 went to Jesuit. 7 went to BM. 3 of us attended Rummel.

Your kid must take after their mother to get into Metairie Academy because you don't sound so bright.

Were you in my class? A brother kicked me back in 99-00. He was subsequently fired.

I have a shite memory but I believe it was brother Edward, although I can't really remember his name. Whoever it was he had just transferred in from Africa and it was his first year there. Scaffidi fired him with the quickness.

I will say that brother Gregory was the greatest teacher I have had the pleasure of learning from.
