Even if we find concrete evidence, China will never admit to it.

No one will hold them accountable. Let's face it, the organizations in China that backed this have govt ties and connections that no one will pursue them.

Its a lost cause trying to go after these groups. Even if evidence comes out China won't even get a slap on the wrist since they are a world power

In a challenging question Dr Jean-François Lemoine inferred that the coronavirus under investigation may have come from a patient who is otherwise infected with HIV.

C’mon, man.

But really, who cares if it’s man-made or not? China fricked up regardless. Their incompetence released it, and their attempt to cover it up made it worse. They deserve severe repercussions. Now, if it’s determined they released it on purpose, then that’s an act of war. But the world’s economy is so connected to China, I think we’re somewhat limited in what realistic responses we have as options.

Well, he is considered a quack these days and is an anti-vaxer.

I googled him because I didn't really know him. Outside of this claim about Covid, those are the big things noted about him.

1983--Led team that discovered HIV.
2008--Got Nobel prize for HIV work.
2012--Joined Jenny McCarthy onstage to promote anti-vaccination.

Yep. This was the same mentality concerning whether the virus originally came from the Wuhan lab or a bat from that wet market. Now since the MSM has taken to the story of it coming from the lab, more people are latching on to that theory.

Dr. Luc Montagnier isn't the first virologist to say this. An Indian virologist said this weeks ago after first studying the genome patterns of Covid-19. That virologist's report was immediately attacked & pulled off the internet.

huh?

I'm saying he isn't actually doing any research on this virus.

Google his name and go to the news tab. This article from an unheard of site is the only English one that shows up. The rest are random unheard of new sources in other languages.

But it'll fit a narrative so y'all will lap it up.

Calm down, son. No need to go into defensive mode. I was simply asking a question.

But if you want to convince anyone of anything I wouldn’t cite Google considering their very slanted history.

Indian researchers have already tried to publish the results of the analyses that showed that this coronavirus genome contained sequences of another virus, … the HIV virus (AIDS virus), but they were forced to withdraw their findings as the pressure from the mainstream was too great.

Actually, they withdrew their findings because they claimed the sequences they identified came from HIV.

When the same sequences are found in HIV, but also thousands of viruses/organisms, including SARS.

Don’t even take my word for it. Do a BLAST search.

Ard you saying he’s a fraud?

You don’t even know if he said what is being claimed.

And even if he did, unless he makes a case based on published evidence I don’t really care.

He has been vocal that DNA emits electromagnetic waves, and in the same supposed question session said that we can edit out the artificial sequences in the coronavirus with the right radio signals.

I wish I was exaggerating or being unfair in an exaggerated representation.

Am I supposed to believe that as well just because he was on a team that isolated HIV?

Wiki summary on his DNA/electromagnetic correlation beliefs:

So are you going to pretend like you didn’t mean this as your typical passive aggressive insult?

But in the last few years he has made a lot of dubious claims and published scientific papers without peer review in a journal he controls editorially. But maybe his genius is just beyond the grasp of all other scientists.

quote:

In 2009, Montagnier published two independently made, controversial research studies, one of which was entitled "Electromagnetic Signals Are Produced by Aqueous Nanostructures Derived from Bacterial DNA Sequences." It has been said that, if its conclusions are true, "these would be the most significant experiments performed in the past 90 years, demanding re-evaluation of the whole conceptual framework of modern chemistry".[6] The paper concludes that diluted DNA from pathogenic bacterial and viral species is able to emit specific radio waves" and that "these radio waves [are] associated with ‘nanostructures’ in the solution that might be able to recreate the pathogen".

quote:

On 28 June 2010, Montagnier spoke at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany,[29] "where 60 Nobel prize winners had gathered, along with 700 other scientists, to discuss the latest breakthroughs in medicine, chemistry and physics."[30] He "stunned his colleagues ... when he presented a new method for detecting viral infections that bore close parallels to the basic tenets of homeopathy. Although fellow Nobel prize winners – who view homeopathy as quackery – were left openly shaking their heads, Montagnier's comments were rapidly embraced by homeopaths eager for greater credibility. Cristal Sumner, of the British Homeopathic Association, said Montagnier's work gave homeopathy 'a true scientific ethos'."

Question is what is an adequate punishment for China?

If it was definitively proven they engineered and spread it on purpose the only proper response would be ICBM strikes to eliminate leadership. I'm talking 100+ MIRV nukes
