Joke is on him. He doesn’t understand how Americans DO care about the logo…certainly WAY more than quality.

Leftists in this country will tell you with a straight face that manufacturing jobs are demeaning and no American should have to do something so degrading.

They think it’s more noble and fulfilling to live off taxpayer money while learning to play the lute.

Seems like China is worried about these tariffs and sending out all this stuff to make it look like they are good people.

I do think there should be some concern to how China will respond. Cyber attacks which includes creating even more chaos on social media, etc.

They need an economics lesson from a economist who has been dead for a century: Thorstein Veblen.

China without America will go out of business. That’s a fact. We have other options. They do not

Most of this is common knowledge, won't change a thing.

People buy designer wear for the status symbol.

Luxury brands use marketing to increase value and charge their customers more. Rarity, exclusivity, brand experience, etc. None of this is a revelation.

Exactly.

The point is to prove that you can pay more with zero repercussions.

It is the exclusivity.

It isn’t the bag itself, it is the name.
