I imagine there are plenty in this age range that frequent the OT.

Do you ever wonder if you may have some half-siblings in Vietnam?

" Wanna join in a chorus
Of the Amerasian blues?
When it's Christmas out in Ho Chi Minh City
Kiddie say papa papa papa papa pappa-san, take me home
See me got
Photo photo photograph of you and mamma mamma mamma-san
Of you and mamma mamma mamma-san
Let me tell you 'bout your blood, bamboo kid
It ain't Coca-Cola, it's rice. "

My wife is one and we always joke that she has a brother or sister in Vietnam that’ll come knocking on the door one day.

We all laugh but her dad sits silently just staring at us. I think he’s thinking, “they know”.

I hope I have a few running around in the Middle East. It is a nice thought that there is a chance it won’t always be a shithole.

My mom's first cousin did two tours with the army then went back with the merchant marine. He married a Vietnamese girl and brought her home. I met her once. She was beautiful and could fold paper into little birds. The marriage didnt last long and she went back home, unbeknownst to him pregnant with his child. Fast forward several years and the kid, now a teenager, knocks on his door one day. I dont know anything else about the story. The guy is well into adulthood by now and last I heard lived in Oklahoma.

My daddy is a USMC Vietnam Vet. OohRah!!

I doubt I have any siblings in De Nang bc I'm his only child & it took 8 years of invitro before my mom got pregnant with me.

Pops served in the Army with Dusters and Lights in 68-69. I don't worry about siblings in Vietnam because I really don't give a shite if there is. I figure if he needed a bit of female companionship while there, I can fully understand LOL.

I was one when he was sent to nam so I have no memory of any of this but I have heard lots of stories through the years, just not much from my dad. He just does not talk about his time there at all.

My dad used to claim he did but I think he was fricking with us. He said they would ask village women if they wanted "boom boom" (while making thrusting hip motion) or "boom boom"(while making trigger pulling motion). He was a pretty fricked up guy looking back on it.

I can see where that would be a successful seduction tactic.
