It was on David Dr when I grew up. Across from where that drive through car wash is now
that one was there for a while...
The one I'm talking about was South of West Metairie and West of David Drive...one of those angled streets I named...
Google is showing some model railroad club in that area...maybe that is what is there now...

Couple more while in the old neighborhood:
Come Back Inn on West Metairie
Anyone remember what the small grocery store that was a few doors down was?
...we'd walk there from OLDP just before any after school function and grab a snack.

What about the farm on the corner of w. Napoleon and trans, remember that?
I saw a few of you mention ponchos... There is a place on Williams called dos amegios, it's the same exact thing as the old ponchos and def worth a trip out to Kenner.

I seem to remember a farm/petting zoo in the neighborhood between west Metairie/west Napoleon off of clearview.
I had an aunt that lived around there and we would always walk over there.

Mike Miley 4 life...
a few things that I haven't seen mentioned:
-Johnny Bright sockhops
-needing a quarter to get a shopping cart at The Real Superstore on Airline/Earhart
-Pastimes I think it was called. It was a small place off of Vets/Power up against the canal. Was one of the few non-bars with a pool table
-Played a shitload of Primal Rage at the Elmwood Theater arcade

I used to make sure I took the cart back for my mom and grandma so I could get that quarter!

Some of the employees in the store wore roller skates to make it around faster.

I remember that the carts took a quarter to use.
The front of the building had a big shiny metal face...huge parking lot too.
Has that ever been torn down?
