my homeschooled kids are vaccinated with the traditional vaccines - MMR, DTAP, etc

My dad had polio in the 50’s and as he got older the virus started to attack him again - so I think vaccines are important - but not every single one that comes out

If we are alerted to the crap that’s in our food now - what is in the yearly flu vaccine?

We love to do big swings from one extreme to another in this country. Jenny McCarthy is the expert now. The pendulum will swing

Good lord just get your kids vaccinated.

Especially in west Texas where it’s open season for illegals to spread disease.

Not to sidetrack the thread but I’m having a new born and see the CDC recommends a full 3 dose Covid vaccine between 6months to a year. Please upvote or downvote this if I should trust them or not

I was repeatedly assured that these measles cases were all illegals.

Did a close knit community in West Texas catch it out of thin air? It got into the community somehow.

Which is even more reason why to vaccinate and protect your kids.

Mennonites are much healthier than average Americans. A child’s death doesn’t change that.

Or dont and population will handle itself organically.

I honestly dont care what people decide to do,

just dont bitch and complain later on when youve been warned.

I hate people who complain after making bad decisions youve been prewarned about. Its very cucky.

as people i grew up with in my tiny backwoods town start to have kids, i'm seeing many of the dumbest people i know homeschooling their kids and bragging about not getting them their *real* vaccines on facebook.

I just posted the article to the death on several of the homesteaders who have been blowing up my FB recently. I can't wait to see their reaction.

I’ve never said to not vaccine against measles. It’s funny people are taking a victory lap thinking illegals has nothing to do with this. How else would people who never leave west Texas have measles enter their community.

Vaccinate to protect yourself against 3rd world shithold diseases prevalent in the US thanks to open borders.

Like your child dying of measles for no reason despite warnings from doctors and pretty much anyone with common sense?

That is what is happening. According to Texas department of health there have been 39 cases of measles among children younger than 5. There has been one death. That is a childhood fatality percentage of 2.5%. Awfully damn high for a preventable disease.
