Anyone else having problems getting there kid during this time because there child's mom is a Facebook Karen?

I'm trying to keep it cool because I get a deal on child support that goes both ways. I think its fricking ridiculous how much she's freaking out over this virus. Have joint custody but during these times I don't think it matters I think they can break the custody agreement.

Judging by your grammar, your kid is probably better off with Karen.

Same issue in other states. NY will only hear emergency child custody cases right now. The courts basically said Karen being a bitch isn’t an emergency and the parents need to figure it out.

That’s not correct but unless you want to bring her to court not much you can do

My nutty Ex has been surprisingly amicable lately. My guess is, she got tired of all the legal fees generated when she attempted to restrict my time with our daughter, in the past. Just an example, she arbitrarily decided to change the visitation schedule, drop off place, etc. Basically, just wanted to do whatever best stuck it to me. Depositions and meditations later, she signed off on EVERYTHING I wanted. She got a hefty legal bill just for playing games, and that's it.

I thought mine was going to be a problem. I am in Texas and made it clear to her I was picking the kids up as scheduled and I and my attorney considered it an "essential errand" (one of the caveats) and there was no problem.

She doesn't have the right to keep them from you even in a pandemic. If she fricks around have your court order in hand and call the popo she can be held in contempt.

can you cite the grammar mistakes? maybe your reading comprehension is weak. I see as many mistakes in your post as his.

Do a Google search "_______ state supreme Court + pandemic + child custody"

I see that Texas put out a ruling pretty early that the pandemic would not affect child custody parameters.

Good luck

First, there's the obvious misuse of there/their, which isn't a spelling mistake as he spelled the word properly.

Secondly, his last sentence is a clusterfrick of a run-on.

Keep detailed notes, record any call that she tries to violate the agreement, and then present it to court after this event is over.
