Most importantly though, don’t drive like a a-hole. Don’t gun it when you accelerate, don’t slam on the brakes to stop. Don’t immediately crank your AC up on summer days instead of letting the engine warm up first.

200k this morning. I do all of those things. I towed a 8k lb excavator last month... With trailer that was exactly double the towing capacity.

All vehicles are not made equal.

My mom’s 2013 Traverse has been fine. My dad had 240k miles on his 2002 Silverado with no problems.

The Chevy spokesperson is the reason I will never drive any of their bullshite self-given award assholes. I admit it. That guy drives me up the wall and he shouldn't.

They definitely ride and seem nice. Brother in law got a GMC 2015 sierra... SO many recalls.

Can confirm. I have one and I’ve had like 5 recalls on it. The A/C has gone out twice. The transmission had to be replaced. The heater went out once. The electronics are all jacked up (in the mornings I’ll turn in the heater and without fail the A/C light comes on).

All of this and I am just hitting 96k miles.

I'm not really a believer.

GM's switchgear and plastic bits still seem flimsy and prone to breakage. Engine and drivetrains are generally solid , but everybody's are now.

Watching the C8 closely...
