My father still, to this day, bitches about a Ram Charger he bought circa 1978 bc it was a little cheaper than the Blazer he really wanted. The Charger overheated and died within a year and he’s never bought another Chrysler product.

I had not seen the jalopnik site before (that hosts the original link). It's great. Especially scroll down to see the article about the woman in Jackson MS steeling her own car back after she saw it being driven to Lowe's when she'd left it at the local dealership for servicing.

What the frick? The Blazer name deserved better. I'm 25 but I love the old Chevys. Have an 86 K10 with a granny 4 speed and a 350. The thing rides like a brick and burns gas like there's no tomorrow but I still love her.

I actually think it looks pretty damn good, but I agree it shouldn’t be called the blazer. It’s a completely different model
