Why do they keep making these EV trucks fugly?

Is Ford the only one making it look like a normal damn truck?

I like the styling, especially the front end. Supposedly it can do 400 miles of range and tow 10,000 lbs…though probably not at the same time.

It’s like an Avalanche with the mid gate. The bed is going to be far more useful than other EV trucks.

Because the people clamoring for this first round of EV's are first and foremost doing so for virtue signaling. Everyone has to know that you have an EV, otherwise there is no reason to have it.

Up to 400 miles of range on biggest battery option.
100 miles of range recharged in 10 minutes.

So baws, only 40 minutes at the charging station.

Current gasser 1/2-tons go to 11,000 - 12,000 lbs towing so what is the use of that torque figure? Nothing apparently.

It's global policy that EV's look like trash That new Mercedes looks like a Chinese knock off.

No key or push button, you get in, put on the seatbelt and the truck starts. Interesting.

That’s so fricking awesome!

ETA:
That's sarcasm. If the downvoters believe that I think the 40 minutes of ones time lost by recharging one of those vehicles is truly wonderful, then frick em.

Interior looks great but it's still an ugly truck. Not sure why these EV's have such a futuristic look to them. Probably because people want you to know they have an ev and virtue signal. If they had kept the current design...I would consider, but still buy a gas vehicle.
