The diesel? Everybody i know that has one loves it. Has some rare issues but nothing like the 6.2 piece of shite

And the 5.3 feels underpowered imo

I thought it was 3.0?

Chevy 2.7L Turbo

It is, by far, our quickest turning powertrain, especially in the 1500 Silverado Custom 2wd.

Currently has the 8sp auto trans, but for '27 gets a significant power increase and the GM 10sp auto...

But it comes with a big screen and all kinds of driver amenities.

That are guaranteed to break and cost the owner thousands of dollars to fix. And the repairs can only be done at the dealership. Thats the "GM business model" going forward.

I've never seen a company try so hard to destroy its legacy. Except maybe for Nike.

I have one, don't pull anything as I don't have anything to pull. 40K miles so far averaging 22 mpg I'd say. plenty of power to get where I'm going. Mostly DFW sales trips and to the store. No issues.

I had one but only for a year. I had zero issues with it and it handled our 24' travel trailer just fine. Consistently got 21-22mpg mixed hwy and city. The highest 50mi avg I got on hwy was over 26.

The only reason I sold it was for the chance to jump up to a fifth wheel that I couldn't pass up. I'm in a F-250 now...big difference

No issues with mine (Ford 2.7) pulling a 24' boat or utility trailer.

Didn't realize that Chevy was an inline-4 though. Ford's 2.7L is a v6.

The diesel is 3.0 L. The 2.7 is a gas burner turbo that’s underpowered in the Colorado size truck. I can’t imagine how bad it is in a full-size.

Probably their only decent engine now, but with that said, run away.
