Are those truck nuts just too big for your F-350 Super Duper Duty King Ranch Harley Davidson? Is your Sierra Denali Turbo Duramax All Terrain just a little too small for your emotional security? Is your Silverado 4x4 Quad Cab High Country 6.2L Trail Boss just not turning the neighbor’s heads anymore? Do you want to be able to drive over your neighbor’s cucky half ton pickup without scratching you paint job?

If so, Chevrolet wants you to consider their new 6500 Silverado HD instead of the M1 Abrams Tank or the Caterpillar CT660. Starts at $48500 and goes up to well over $100K.

The ultimate Chevrolet Silverado is the 6500HD, which is similar in size to the 4500HD and 5500HD and is rated to 22,900 pounds GVWR.

They had the International CXT a few years ago and thebed in the back was unuseable because it's over your head.

looks like a hell of a nice work truck for a heavy machinery mechanic/ heavy equipment contractor. Tons of storage and towing capacity to boot.

its a shame so many of you boys with soft palms can't see the potential for the vehicle.

oh well, back to your video games.

If baws have such rugged baw hands, why do they need that supple king ranch leather?

Chevrolet will be offering a pickup bed from the factory on some models. So in addition to tow trucks, bucket trucks, and ambulances, there will be at least a few factory pickup trucks based on this giant straight chassis medium duty rig.

That makes it a contender for the ultimate status symbol in Ascension Parish - although that 6x6 Raptor thing may hold the crown.

Nothing a baw likes better than the smell of rich mahogany and pickup truck grade leather.

It’s about time they bring this truck back. They used to make it as a c or a k 4500,5500,6500. Great work trucks

no, I'm thinking this would be good for heavy equipment dealers, lineman, electrical companies, diesel mechanics, etc. I doubt GM is offering it as a novelty, so there must be market potential for it.

cause it feels good? cause its standard on the vehicle? cause they can?

I don't know what type of configuration GM plans to offer with this truck, but I doubt it will be marketed like the 350/3500s. Not to say someone won't customize it for just such a use, but its a stout truck if you need one.

In fairness, if you spend 75,000+ miles a year in your truck or run a tow or snow plow business, you probably want extremely comfortable seats.
