DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — An employee at a local fast food restaurant shot a customer who was unhappy with his order.
The shooting happened around midnight at the Checkers off Candler Road in DeKalb County.
The manager confirmed the shooting to Channel 2's Kristen Holloway and said the employee has been fired.
Two men placed their order at the walk-up window and became upset when the order was wrong, according to the manager.
She said they tried to remake the order when the two men started yelling at employees.
The manager said they opened the window back up when one of the men threw all the wings at the employee.
That is when the employee shot the customer.
Holloway spotted several bullet holes in the shattered window and the wings that started it all.

This is what I like to see from my fast food places. I like a little attitude check to level me out after the friendliness of chick fil a.

It sounds like the "victims" deserved to get shot. They committed an aggravated battery over some chicken wings. You cannot have a tantrum and throw things at people because your fast food order was wrong.
Also, notice that the shooter was fired, but not arrested.

So if you throw food at somebody you deserve to be shot? Lol also if you would open the link it says this :
So he could still be getting arrested
quote:
We’re working to confirm the customer’s condition and if the former employee will face charges, for Channel 2 Action News at Noon.
So he could still be getting arrested

There were many more events than just the throwing of food. You are attempting to trivialize the actions of those who started the whole incident.
If you don't want it to get physical, don't make it physical. Once you commit an aggravated battery, you are not in charge of how your victim reacts.

Enough to have the right to defend yourself. Going to be tough to prove wings put you in fear of your life. I'm sure the checkers employee had a legal permit to conceal the weapon as well...that's going to come about in this case.

My bad. It is actually just regular battery, or assault, depending on how the state's laws are written and interpreted.
