You have no way of knowing yet what was every reason for him/her shooting them. We know the assholes screamed at the minimum wage worker for getting an order of wings wrong. We know he/she was trying to re-make the order. We know that the assholes ripped the closed window open and began screaming at the minimum wage employee. we know that he/she was hit by the a-hole with a bag/box of wings.
Was the screaming in form of a threat? Did they threaten to kill, stab, maim or harm the co-workers, or family, of the employee? You seem to know so much about what happened and are throwing wide, sweeping statements out there about what should have happened.
I cannot know what should have happened unless I know what happened. I do know that the police chose not to arrest the shooter. Why do you think that is?

When are people gonna learn not throw food at fast food workers. I have seen multiple videos of this.
The first time I saw employee jump over counter to fight the customer. The next one the employee threw a damn shake machine at her. Now the employee shot thr customer. Im scared to ask what's the next escalation for a customer to throw food. Decapitation by machete?
