When are people going to wise up and realize that big corporations don’t give a crap about normal, everyday working customers? Bank with a small regional bank where you can walk in and actually get help with these kind of issues.
I somewhat agree. The day of keeping all your finances with one of the big banks is over. If you are a small business or mid level business you should look at other options because the big nationals can shut you down in a heartbeat. The big banks do not need your business and that's evident by the number of account termination stories that are now becoming more common.
Big banks have become woke political activist using their leverage to force customers to change beliefs and behavior habits to how the woke mob wants it.

It's really shitty to hire non-native speakers as customer service reps.
This.
It really is. Especially when it comes to banking. Personally, I have a really difficult time understanding most foreign accents. Sometimes I have to ask them to repeat themselves 3 or 4 times and then I eventually get aggravated and just want to get off the phone with them.
And I am sure if those employees complain when someone gets pissed because there is a communication issue, the companies have to back them to make sure they don't get sued or anything .. But hey at least they get cheap workers.

I am bumping this thread to provide an interesting article that the NYT recently published about this phenomenon.
Archive of article so you don't have to give NYT any clicks
TLDR: The banks are so lazy they use algorithms to alert when accounts make "suspicious" transactions. The banks say they manually review these but I doubt it. And this is all to appease government regulators (supposedly)
Get your money the F out of these large banks immediately if it wasn't already clear enough.

This is accurate.

Small banks do this, too. They have to, by law.
