I can't remember who it was, but I heard some author talk about how amazing it is that despite being vilified, modern young men engage in pretty constant restraint in terms of their power.
I thought that was true and merited reflection. They're weapons. It's why we've used them for war. And yet, they with overwhelming consistency don't beat up women and older/weaker people, don't sexually assault, don't demand to be at the front of the line, don't take things by force.
Some nuts would argue that and claim that they (we) do all of these things constantly, but I think anyone living in the real world would have to admit that's untrue. Which only makes our inability/refusal to help them navigate the messed up world we offer them all the more dangerous.

Based on Ut law, the last part of this is key. One of the aggravated murder conditions that allow prosecutors to seek the death penalty is putting others at grave risk of injury of death. That's exactly how the probable cause statement is worded.
