Doesn’t matter 243, 270 or a 308.

A 200 yd head shot is a tough shot

Its obvious Darth Vader isn’t a deer hunter

Ummmm, yes. My mother said she couldn’t help but think about JFK all day. My wife the same. Yes, this obviously is reminiscent of these moments, and this is a day in history everyone will remember where they were when they heard about it.

Of course it is. Everyone will remember where they were when Charlie Kirk was murdered. Just like… the Kennedy’s, MLK etc.

Obviously, this is disgusting but to compare with historical events…. You think this makes the lesson plans?

I'll ask again, what exactly did he say that was so inflammatory?

All I’m saying is everyone needs to be prepared. All the time. Not part of the time. Not when you are in “your” city.

How many shootings involving high level people do we need to have before the people on stage realize this isn’t a game anymore.

That time happened for me the day they almost killed Trump. At that point everyone should know what the deal was. No one is off limits, no one. If you are going to oppose the other side prepare.

Not blaming the guy just saying the environment is so hot right now, protect your nuts guys.

You should accept it because it's objectively true.

You raised the point earlier of whether said norms are good/desirable, and that's a more intellectually interesting question to debate.

But my argument wasn't premised on the substantive value of the norms, it was premised on how that impacts the nature of the conflict.

That's great man... not pseudo-intellectual at all. I guess I agree with you that the President needs to exercise more power because of the great opposition against him and return this country to the Founding Father's original glory (???)

People have done far less than give a speech and get shot.

Such as?

This dude wasn't an elected official, he didn't make policy, he simply went around and offered to debate people.

He wasn't some super far right alternative figure, his views were pretty standard. He was generally nice and respectful to people.

Thanks for being a MLK and Malcolm X supporter

A high center mass aim landing 3-4 inches high would be considered acceptable margin for a shooter. That's about what youd expect at 200 yards with a 50 yard zero.

The thing that makes me at least consider this being a hired hit is the fact that they only took 1 shot and it was in about as fatal of a location as you can get. Whether that was the aim point or not, the execution was efficient, effective, confident. And so was the escape.

Of course a LARPer could do it too.

it’s not what Charlie Kirk said that made the Left hate him, it’s how effective he was.

Darth didn’t shoot anything.

He changed the oil on tanks and now builds models of tanks and sells oil filters

Be a president riding in a carriage not making a speech at all for one.
And he died based upon some 19 year olds assumptions.

Hitting the neck and aiming for it are two different things.

He could have been aiming center mass (which a shooter should do) and either twitched a bit or was dialed incorrectly. At 200 yards, you may be able to get away with a small error and still hit the target.

He's not nearly as big as he use to be unless of course you live in the algorithm nearly 24/7. Not meant as a slight to him, just is what it is.
