Are you really sitting here telling me comments about the civil rights won’t hit people in the ultra feels?

Get out of here with that shite.

Free speech means you can say what you want but it doesn’t mean everyone else is going to let you do it without some blowback.

This is all stuff you and everyone else knows. You know when you tell a crowd civil rights was a mistake that it’s going to piss people off 100% of the time.

If you don’t know this, you should not be speaking in public. Do it somewhere else.

You can play dumb, and I'll just agree that you are dumb and not waste time trying to convince you otherwise.

He doesn’t think anything Charles said was divisive. I don’t get it but ok.

I don't find seeking out people you know don't agree with you and engaging in actual conversations to be divisive. I would call it the exact opposite of being divisive.

Using your definition, anything said outside your echo chamber is divisive.

I give him credit for that. I think at times he sought to find common ground. But also, at times he enjoyed saying things to rile the crowd up. He would say things on purpose that he knows is very controversial, because it helps him go viral.
I don't hate the guy or anything like that. He did say things that some would see as divisive.

Got mentioned in our message briefly but wasn’t the main topic which I’m appreciative of.

Attendance was way up.

"It's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights,"

"I have a very, very radical view on this, but I can defend it, and I've thought about it," Kirk said. "We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the 1960s."

"he told one female student, who then asked, if someone raped his hypothetical 10-year-old daughter, would he want the child to be born.

"The answer is, yes, the baby would be delivered,""

“If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified."

"How many little girls died at Camp Mystic because the Austin Fire Department hired a DEI fire chief?"

"You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person's slot to go be taken somewhat seriously"

"Black America is worse than it has been in the last 80 year"

“Prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people -- that’s a fact”

When you have principles, these make sense.

On the 2nd Amendment, being able to defend yourself against a tyrannical government was of VITAL importance to our founding fathers, who grew up in age where disagreements were settle with DUELING PISTOLS.

Civil Rights Act was a flawed piece of legislation that has been used to push leftist government activity since day 1. It should have been scaled back significantly to assure it wouldn't be used to trample on one person's rights for the sake of another's.

When you see every life as precious in the eyes of God, you HAVE to be consistent in your moral stand to protect that life, regardless of the terrible circumstances that led to it's conception. Murder doesn't make up for rape.

Black pilots, female pilots, etc. would never be questioned if it weren't for programs like affirmative action and DEI. The only reason to question their qualifications is the fact that there is a program with specific intent to level the numbers regardless of meritocracy. If affirmative action or DEI never existed, you would have some assurance that whoever your pilot was earned their spot with their skill and competency.

Ditto the fire chief. In a meritocracy, nobody would ask that question. They would just fire the fire chief after the fact.

Despite all the horrible circumstances of the past, black families were statistically better off in the past than they are now. Their schools are failing them, crime is killing their youth, the vast majority are born into single-parent homes with no male influence. They are suffering because leftists pushed them into dependence on a government that didn't care about anything but their vote. In the past they were discriminated against openly. Now, there is an entire political party who thinks they can't think for themselves and should be told how to vote and what to think. Luckily, more and more are realizing that is the case and leaving that party.

None of that is divisive unless you just ignore fact and live your life based on your emotions. When my wife disagrees with me, I don't shriek like a banshee and put a bullet in her neck, I continue the conversation.

Leftists don't have that much decency.

I find it odd how many followers of Christ say that Charlie Kirk, who was killed for professing his faith in Jesus Christ, has no business being mentioned in a church service.

Deeply divisive? Like there are two genders or that the pay gap is a myth or that open borders are bad?

You’re right. You are pretty fricking stupid.

Our church was packed. Our pastor's message was built around the evil actions that took place. It was probably the best message I have heard in church.
