I have 3 charcoal/wood grills and smokers, and one natural gas Weber grill. Love them all.

Each has a role to play.

Yeah caveman it's actually right here. What you're saying is stupid. I'm not saying that you're stupid, but it's definitely a possibility because you say stupid things in the internet.

Your troll game is getting weaker by the day Lucas, you used to make me laugh.

I use my gas grill every time I cook outside.

That is where I put my drink, sauces, pans and ashtray while I cook on my Weber charcoal grill or WSM 22.5" charcoal/wood smoker.

Don't know what the hell I would do with all my stuff if I didn't have the gas grill.

I do propane. Mainly because I'm cooking for 1. I have 1 steak to cook I'm not going through all the other bullshite.

Charcoal if it's a gathering and we are going to be eating and drinking a bit.

Yeah and mine takes less than a minute. So, by the time you get started, I'm done.

Just recently switched over to charcoal and food seems to taste better.

Well, duh.

About the only people I know that prefer gas to charcoal are pinko commie figs.

The BGE get hots really quick if you are looking to grill. The chimney starter helps save some time. It takes just as long as any other charcoal or wood burner to get the egg right for smoking. All worth it because the taste if off the chain. No comparison to a gas grill. Plus, you can only pretend to smoke meat on a gas grill.

Yep. I can get my minimax BGE to 600 or 700 degrees in not much more than 10 minutes.

If you buy a 10$ chimney starter you can have charcole hot in 7 minutes

Chimney starters are not an optional piece of equipment. Using lighter fluid is nasty and unnecessary.

Charcoal and while we are at it

The best charcoal grill EVER is this one LINK

My first one lasted 17 years uncovered. I am on my second one and love it.

I like it better than ceramic.

I can grill and smoke with it and it is easy to clean and it is easy to service the fire while cooking using the front door.

Charbroil/WCBradley have been making this grill for decades. I bet it weighs 300 lbs.
