Have you considered praying? Connecting with God/a higher power usually gives me perspective.

Learn the piano if you want. Why not? What’s the risk? Time is going to pass anyway. May as well learn a new skill you’ll enjoy.

I literally don't care what anyone thinks of me.

Brooks had the flu this week. It was his first time at his doctors new location so I needed to fill out paperwork. I was alone with him and he threw up every where. Twice. They would not see us until the paperwork was done. And it was the first time in my mom life I didn't have extra clothes. So I'm struggling trying to clean my child, the floor, and do paperwork when some woman stepped up and said can you please help her. And she went to her car and got brand new jeans out for us. I almost cried. There are good people.

Seeing that lady dancing at the white house yesterday has placed me into a new chapter of life

Taste it all, try it all. Regret is a horrible thing. It's never too late to try new paths.

I was thinking, if I were a single man she'd be right about in my wheelhouse

How’s Brooks feeling?

Most of us really are. It's a good thing. You can pretty much feel comfortable anywhere. The kind of morph depending n the audience.

I sit in formal work dinners occasionally but I certainly grew up running trot lines and working on 4 wheelers.

I'd abandon the corporate world tomorrow if I could and wouldn't shed a tear. I have multiple degrees from LSU but it's definitely not who I am. It's sad that we need to run the rat race when we don't want to.

Agreed. I hate it. I sit in meetings sometimes and dream that I'm somewhere else. FML
