If anyone has their mardi gras ball coming up and its at Lauberge you might want to check if they scrubbed EVERYTHING with the ballroom, bathrooms, etc. The health unit is now involved after 200 plus of our guests came down with a violent viral attack. The long and short of it is guests are saying its coming out of all ends and its horrible. IV fluids needed in some cases. calling it the chaos bug. Staff at Lauberge were also hit. Just fyi!

I stayed there recently on the way back from Houston and it has fallen way off since the last time I was there around Katrina time.

I read that as "national catastrophe" at first.

It hasn't changed much at all other than a new casino next door

They are also bringing the Pile of Debris onto land and renaming it so LDL will be the oldest casino in Lake Charles soon

For several years, the Isle of Capri in Westlake was looking for ways to expand and attract more people to the area. Their chance came in 2018 after the Louisiana Legislature approved a bill allowing riverboat or water-based casinos to move inland.
Eldorado Resorts, the owner of the Isle of Capri, has committed more than $100 million to the project. Jeff Favre says the project will make the casino more appealing to SWLA residents and tourists.

they don't have a bunch of real estate to work with over there. I wonder what their plans are.

That shite's going around everywhere. I had it two days before the National Championship game.
