Yes, this is flood related. Have a friend that needs to get 315 LF up to height of 48 inches. Need to get job done by Monday.

Thinking someone on OT does the work or may have connections.

Thanks.

Go buy the cellulose at HD or Lowe's and they let you use the machine

why the rush? make sure the studs moisture content is 15% or less before installing the insulation or hanging sheetrock

Yeah, we're on top of that. Meter readings are all below 15% with most around 10%. We had an industrial dehumidifier in it and had it gutted and Cleaned out by 11:00am on August 16th.

We've been cautious and have it ready to go.

Will- calling your suggestion soon.

Stout- thanks for that. Will be backup plan.

These guys did my house in BR. They're out of Madisonville, so maybe they are not as busy. Ask for Lou.

ETA: I initially thought your OP was in reference to spray foam. I'm not sure if the above offer traditional insulation services or not. Worth a shot I guess. I know they do spray foam.

Your friend will want to YouTube spray foam insulation first before installing it in his home. Trust me. Shits not healthy.

Definitely not healthy to be an installer if not outfitted properly.

Also, while it's not rocket science, from what I was told there is a rhythm to spray properly and if applied wrong, there are serious consequences. Spray foam is not a weekend warrior task IMO.

if done right, spray foam is so much better.

Not going to find someone who will do that quickly. Why not use batts?

No shite, Batts are perfectly acceptable in the Lowe part of an exterior wall. No energy lost in that area in our climate . Ceiling well insulated and door suitably weatherstripped system more important. All of my gutted houses are going back w Batts.
