Well yeah but I doubt the government will do it.

Maybe he's an honest man who will go back on his own volition.

I think the guides knew but failed to inform him. If it comes out that he knew that it was Cecil then his a-hole points shoot up even more.

He has a history of blaming the guides for his poaching. He thinks plausible deniability and money will get him off. He's prob right.

The article said he is due in court on August 6. But yeah, it's probably not happening unless Zimbabwe has an extradition agreement with the U.S.
Well Obama is the president

You laugh but it would make some points if this douchebag was forced to go back IMO.

Still doesn't mean that they will. Mugabe has failed to extradite people in the past

The "hunting" fees aren't going towards conservation or protection. That's BS as indicated by Lion numbers rapidly decreasing, they're an official threatened species. The fees goes to a few rich dudes over there. Poachers are more prevalent than ever and your "hunting" fees are an expensive mount to cover your own insecurities.

It's a big story across the entire world. That will generate a lot of pressure to bring him to justice. I wouldn't dismiss the option.

How do you know? ETA: Seriously, give me an exact breakdown of where every dollar goes. Because if even one goes to conservation, you're wrong.

It doesn't change overnight.

You are the dumbest person in this thread. That's impressive.

There sure is a whole lot of rage over an American poacher who traveled to Africa, bribed a landowner, participated in luring a lion off of a protected reserve to an area that didn't have a lion permit, shot him with an arrow, tracked him for forty hours, shot him again with a gun, tried to destroy his GPS tracking device, beheaded the animal, and then left the country.

The head Tanzanian official disagree with you.
