Got it. I'm highly skeptical any of the hunt money goes towards conservation at all. I've been to other countries and they're dead broke because of corruption.

I'm not going to pretend I know everything about these types of hunts, but if an animal is old and is no longer breeding, I wouldn't really have a problem with it.
I just don't understand that if someone says they are doing it in the name of conservation, why not just give away the money if that is the main purpose anyway. There are plenty of non-endangered animals for me to kill, I don't need to worry about killing a lion.
