Thus the response of having vaccinated people wear masks and now get tested if exposed and asymptomatic.

Mask and lockdowns don’t work

Just look at the data/science

Vaccines do work, which is why anti-vaxxers should just get whatever is coming to them.

She was asymptomatic when she transmitted it dipshit. So pre-sympomatic. But at the time of transmission asymptomatic.

Asymptotic spread is one of the great hoaxes of this pandemic.

I tend to agree.

But I also think you have a lot of people that run a slight fever and have a slight cough and don't really consider themselves "symptomatic" because they feel fine overall.

I believe this is accurate and significant.

Anyone can spread it so worrying about someone’s vaccination status is pointless.

you entirely neglect the fact that you are less likely to be infected if you are vaccinated. you make a false equivalency that vaccinated are equally spreading the virus, its false because they are much less likely to be infected and shed it in the first place.

if you get the chicken pox shot, you can still get the chicken pox and spread it. we make everyone get the shot nowadays and chicken pox is rare. dont @ me about differences in the viruses and longer term immunity themselves, im referring to the same concept of transmissibility.

I think the vaccines work.

I think people should get vaccinated.

However I don’t care if they do. That’s their business.

This is why masks are needed again. Get used to it, they’ll be around until everyone has the shot

The masks aren’t needed for this variant or original ones now. Overall effectiveness of type of masks worn by most people including cheap thins ones made in China, filthy reusable ones, ones with holes, handkerchief looking ones hung around necks & pulled up, and horrible fitting ones is debatable.

Throw in some people constantly not covering nose or removing to talk with other employees or friends especially smokers, and the only people being protected were the ones who cared enough to buy good masks, keep them clean, and wearing them properly at all times around others outside of household and would have been protected even if others around them weren’t wearing masks. People that want to do this can still have that choice. Everything else was psychological or political just like the 2 masks push that started as cover for some elitist politicians at inauguration who were just covering their N95 masks.

At this point people should have some personal responsibility and be responsible for their actions or inactions including blacks (its long past the point looking the other way for everything given in past and making excuses for why it was wasted and having lower expectations of them).

Also If we are going to treat these vaccines socially and in media like others required for schools and travel then maybe they should be no longer under emergency use authorization. If they aren’t ready to do this then get over forcing and guilting people to get the shot. If fully approved in January 2022 like Pfizer’s current estimate then call anyone still not wanting it an anti-vaxer.

Asymptomatic people, which the vaccine helps ensure, don’t spread the virus.

The CDC is changing its tune on that.

Did you read the link?

The CDC now recommends that vaccinated people who have been exposed to COVID-19 get tested for the virus - even if they don't have symptoms.

That’s fine.
Don’t follow the MDs recommendation (get the shots) then don’t call them when you get COVID.

This is the CDC guidance that they are basing this article and headline off of.

LINK

spoiler: they don't actually say what the article says they said. They do say a vaccinated person can spread it once they're infected but they also say they're less likely to get infected.

That’s not true at all. It’s also not what the CDC said.

The OP has been rooting so hard for the vaccine to fail that he doesn’t give a shite if his post was accurate or not.
