So pretty much proportional to the percentage that's obese? riveting stuff. Riveting stuff indeed.
Obesity is roughly 30% for people 18-49. So this has actually DOUBLE the rate

39 percent isn’t 59 percent. Learn math

I just read a thread how the south was so unhealthy. We must be at 70% obesity down here.

Have you ever looked at the numbers they consider obese or over weight? They consider a man who is 6ft tall and 170 lbs as overweight

I am not talking about overweight. I am talking about “obese”. Apparently a lot of people’s don’t understand that difference

Obese or overweight? And what are the thresholds for each?
Posted on 4/9/20 at 1:07 pm to tigerskin
He is full of shite anyway
6 feet 170lbs is a BMI of 23 which is right in the middle of healthy range

There are some adjusted BMI calculators online that factor in age and waist size. Find one of those and you'll see what they mean by obese.

at 6’0” 185 lbs is your upper limit on being in the normal weight category
And as someone who is 6’0” I actually start looking soft/pudgy at 180 lbs
I’m currently 170 and waist is 32”
At 180 lbs it’s getting tight at a 34” size. So I would say the range is right on for me.
