One is a horse soldier, the other is where Jesus died
Posted on 9/4/19 at 9:47 pm to lucaslsu
They are both words. One refers to mounted soldiers, the other to the hill where Jesus was crucified.

True.
One has nothing to do with the other and common use is “Calvary” when it should be “cavalry” ...

Cavalry comes from cavalier, which comes from the French Chevalier, which comes from the French Cheval, for horse.
People are dumb

Well since you didn’t use the words in context you made it seem like you don’t know the difference.
Did you just learn the difference tonight but not sure which is which?

Actually, it was a pretty good joke

She butchered that whole song and got a top 5 hit out of it. Like her whole career it pays to be Bob Dylan's frickbuddy

No ...
Had it misused twice today in conversation and have noticed it more and more.
