I drive across at least 5 or 6 times a week so I've pondered it alot actually.

Along with the "What does my wife do if she goes over with my daughter in the car and the automatic windows won't go down and she can't get the door open???"

I do too. We don't cross as often as you, but that is a horrendous thought. They need to fix that quickly.

driver of said vehicle launched into lake was thought to have been dead upon impact, possibly ejected outof truck NOt sure, waiting on further info. Witness saw body bobble to surface, then he jumped in. body wasn't in truck, they later found him.

Hey, Internet tough guy assclown, I drive it five times a week with rush hour flow. If he was going 65 in a work zone he WAS speeding. Sorry my speculation offended his fellow garbage truck driver. Now frick off.

And you have proof of this how???

You made a bold statement on the driver's speed based on a fricking picture. A picture.

I suppose the state should subpoena you to appear in court to testify now because you now are positively certain that the driver was indeed speeding because you saw one picture of the accident scene on TD.com.

You can frick off...moron.

Technically, the reduced speed begins where the new speed limit posting is--and exactly at that point.

It is a flaw of the causeway PD that they put the "speed reduced to 45mph" sign in the middle of the work convoy, not out on the road before the work site to alert drivers that a crew is ahead and the limit will drop down. This will be brought to light when this case hits the courts.

Being the expert witness on speed that you are, I'm sure that you have noticed this now fatal flaw on your daily commute, no?

I didn't realize I owed you any proof. You sure seem mad about my speculation, though, which clearly hit a nerve.

Are you familiar with the large-arse electronic boards in each crossover that display in large-arse letters that there are traffic conditions ahead that require drivers' attention, in addition to the blinking lights at each call box?

They don't do road work during commuting hours, asshat. But I sure as hell have noticed the large-arse electronic boards in each crossover that display in large-arse letters that there are traffic conditions ahead which require drivers' attention, in addition to the blinking lights at each call box.

Maybe you can be a lawyer when you grow up.

This accident may have happened just before the first crossover. I know it was around milepost 20. (Possibly before the first southbound message board.)

Nevertheless, it's a mystery to me how someone sitting in a higher riding vehicle like a garbage truck couldn't have seen what was ahead of them, if they were paying attention to the road. Maybe medical emergency, maybe driver fatigue, maybe fooling with their phone or the radio...

Well, I actually do have my J.D, so there's that.

Maybe you were not smart enough to detect that from my questioning you on having facts when you post statements accusing someone of speeding based on an Internet picture...you sound like a real idiot.

And also, is asshat the only jeer you know?
