Quite the emotional argument here. BTW, last I checked a priest granting absolution from a sin in the confessional does not eliminate the consequences of being convicted of a crime.

Since every instance of these crimes are reported to the police.
How about a human trafficker that confesses, there are millions of trafficked people. Honestly I DGAF if they want absolution for these sins.
