From the school:

Catholic of Pointe Coupee is on lockdown. There were gunshots fired in the area. There is no intruder on campus. We are following the direction of the point to pay Parish sheriffs office and the New Roads Police department. All students and faculty are safe. We will update you as more information becomes available

Update:

Catholic of Pointe Coupee is no longer on lockdown. Earlier gunshots were heard behind the school. Out of caution, we locked down. Local authorities cleared the school as a part of their investigation. No students or faculty were harmed. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this situation. CC: JC

There’s a vape shop across the street. That’s where my money is.

Why do keep your money in a vape shop? Seems awfully irresponsible.

I’m sure that’s an autocorrect issue, pretty forgivable in the situation.

Didn't even think about squirrel. That would make more sense. People squirrel hunting would be closer than someone shooting from a deer stand.

Lets see how many dumbass parents see a headline like this and book it to school to pick up their kids.

Schools on lockdown, so nobody leaves, then parents line the streets outside of the school and bring their other kids to the locked down area, causing an even bigger headache.

Happened at our school a couple of months ago

You think that means anything to a PC baw when an 8-pointer walks out in the field behind his house?
