Did he have some sort of protection on his legs?

I thought at first it was catcher's equipment !

But now looking at it I really cant tell. Whatever it is or was...zero fricks were given.

But why own a cat?

And to think, they all get to keep living by each other for the foreseeable future…

If so, that is definitely not Squirrel Hill.

A good example of a neighborhood I'm happy I don't live in. A dog like that is the reason they sell (well, you can fill in the rest).

Our son lives on Mars Hill. Could be Pittsburgh, but looks nothing like Mars Hill, where you know better than to not control your dog.

Did I pick up a Pittsburgh accent from the cat owner/puncher?

I think I see what you did there, but it may just be a coincidence.

Was that guy really going to attack a woman? What trash.

Yep. He let his dog go after the guy while standing in arms distance from him and decided to climb over a porch rail to go after the guys wife instead.

Tough guy opting for the woman to beat on------figures.

Maybe if some of these pits and other dogs ended up getting shot, owners might be more inspired to keep up with their animal. Large dogs are territorial predators and just because they're sweet when their owners are around, doesn't mean they are roaming around.

Agree.

I have told the story before... I know a man who works down the road from my farm (for another farmer) and he walks to work. A guy moved in down the road from the man and had a pit that came running out into the road and attacked the man. He spent several weeks in the hospital.

The day he goes back to work since the accident he is walking down the same road and the dog runs out again.

I will say that the dog had zero chance against a pissed off man with a hatchet. A man with the strength to load hay bales all day long.

He hit that dog in the top of the skull and dropped it. You could see the dogs tongue from the top of his head.

Good riddance.

Perched on a railing isn't the best defensive position! lol
I am surprised he was able to keep his balance while perched like an overweight owl!

Man I was really hoping his wife would’ve caught a knuckle sandwich when she hopped up on the railing.

This video makes me glad I’m not poor. What a bleak place to live. I need to remember to watch this again if I ever consider filing for divorce.

Normally, I would have zero sympathy for either irresponsible pet owner, but once that dog-of-peace owner tried to attack the other man's wife...

Even a lab can frick you up if it's feeling territorial. I've been attacked by two labs that "wouldn't hurt anyone" well away from the owners property because they weren't paying attention to their animals.

My chocolate is great with my kids. He's never given me the slightest reason to distrust him around them.

He has however given me plenty of reasons to not trust him around strange people/dogs and I don't. He goes up when company is over.
